Orthognathic Surgery

Orthognathic surgery also known as “corrective jaw surgery” involves moving the bones of the upper or lower jaw or both. The jaws are lengthened or shortened, moved up or down, in or out, resulting in a more harmonious bite and facial appearance. This surgery can help improve activities such as chewing, talking and sleeping.

The surgery works alongside orthodontic treatments and Invisalign can be used in many orthognathic surgery treatment plans. We work in partnership with local dental surgeons to ensure the best care and outcome for our patients from start to finish.
